Basic Rebounding

When your playing on the inside, it equates to you being close to the basket.  It also means that you will be expected to rebound the basketball.  This basketball drill focuses and builds on your stamina, jumping ability, and assists you with your rebound landing, and ablility to locate an open teammate to pass the ball to.

In this drill, you want to start off on one side of the basket. You should be standing approximately halfway to the free throw line. Begin by bouncing the ball off the backboard and leap up the the ball, grabbing the basketball as quickly and powerfully as possible. When you land, it is important to hit the floor with strength and balance. Turn to make an pretend pass to your offensive teammate.

You should perform this basketball drill ten times from each side of the basket.
